Bronx Soul Food

I give the food a B+.
Yams- Excellent
Baked Macaroni and Cheese- Excellent, just like my mother's.
Collard Greens- Excellent
Potato Salad- Excellent, almost as good as mine.
Cornbread- Excellent
I was disappointed in the baked chicken. It wasn't brown enough or seasoned enough for my taste.
Soul food is a difficult area in which to start an eatery because it is always compared to one's memory of their best soul food cook.
Trying to cook to everyone's pallet is no easy task. I commend this business for operating up in the Bronx in a largely Caribbean community. I wish them all the luck in the world!

First time I went there I got Mac and cheese and baked chicken ! If you eat food from the heart made with love go there ! I never had Mac and cheese so good that I can legitimately eat by it’s self . Yams nice and sweet right amount of flavor and bake chicken .. OMG the best thing I ever ate in my left I swear.

I’m at the restaurant right now and the owner is very pleasant and helpful. The food is amazing and the Bronx wings are to die for. I would definitely recommend this place to everybody.
