Burrito Shop

I've been meaning to try the south Indian food since this place started serving it and the stars finally aligned. The ambiance was established by the previous owners as a take out burrito place but eating a soggy dosa at home would definitely not have been the way to go. There was a bit of a wait and I noticed another patron waiting for a while too (hence the 4 star rating) but it was entirely worth it. I tried the spinach masala dosa which came with soup and some type of fresh tasting condiment. I loved every bite. The proprieter was also very nice. This is the first Indian place that I've found in the Bronx and to me, South Indian food is a delicacy so I will definitely be back.

If you are looking for a healthy/vegan/delicious food option try the South Indian menu! My friend and I (both South Indian first generations) stopped by yesterday after seeing the South Indian food on the menu, and we were so glad we did! The masala dosas we ate tasted like home, which is hard to find anywhere! The South Indian menu is pretty much all vegan by nature, just make sure there is no ghee (if that interest you) If we didn’t live in Brooklyn we’d eat here again!
