    Basically a male BAR for civil service workers very strong drinks at a decent price with a Sports BAR like atmosphere

    At a regular bar a bottle of liquor makes ~40 drinks. At Glackens it makes less than 10. You do the math. Best bar in the city.

    It was the best bar we went to in the city mainly because of the genuine locals and Tommy who was running the bar. I walked into the place and it was my first pub I had been to in the Bronx and I was welcomed with a hand shake and introduction. I went in all three days I was there to start the day and in one case...after the afternoon Yankees game. I met many great people in a short time. Thank you, Brackens, for being a great host.
