Beccofino

Growing up as an Irish Italian from the Bronx it was customary for my family to eat out in Belmont for "authentic" Italian food. Over the years as many of the traditional Belmont spots became overly commercialized the quality of their food declined. It appeared to us that the Bronx, sadly, had lost any remaining authentic spots to grab a decent Italian dinner...that is, until we stumbled upon Beccofinos. This has become our new family gem. Each time we've been there the food has been exceptional. The onlyyyyy complaint I have is that their bread could be better--not that its stale--more that its on the cheaper side not the delicious crispy soft interior bread that soaks up dipping oil regardless the entrees make up for this one downside..

Came here with coworkers for the holiday season. Great food at a reasonable price. Very cozy atmosphere and the service wasn't too bad. I would visit again.

Delicious large bowl of lentil soup to start, followed by wild salmon, green beans and incredibly perfect roasted potatoes. Can't wait to return. Excellent staff. Warm and welcoming. Wednesday night....all tables filled.

Excellent food, service, ambiance and price. I had a salmon special and the calamari appetizer and both were excellent. Definitely give this place a try. You won't regret it.
