El Pipirin NYC

I first noticed this place when I was driving by and passed by El Pipirin. My bestfriend and I thought it was cute and decided to stop by and have a meal. I ordered a steak quesadilla and she had three chicken tacos.

Let me tell you that this food is SO. GOOD! I was shocked because this place is small and I wasn’t sure what to expect since there isn’t a physical menu but the staff is so warm and friendly. It was a very homey atmosphere. They have specials throughout the week.

We went back a second time tonight and the owner recognized us! He treated us to samples of their cactus and I tried their pineapple drink. It was absolutely delicious. I would 10000% recommend this place to anyone because the food is banging and the staff is so hospitable. I can’t wait to try everything on their menu! Next time I visit I will try the Gordita.

Wowwwwww. The food here is amazing. I would eat here again and again. The people greet you as soon as you come in and make you feel very welcome. The pricing is very good and I would truly recommend this place to all. Really please support them. Not only are they a local business which is amazing, but the bonus of it all is the experience of a friendly greeting as long with truly authentic Mexican food which is really, really good. The absolute BEST tortilla-based Mexican Food in NYC (and probably the world). Apart from incredibly talented, the people running the place are also super kind, fun and welcoming. Anything you order will be amazing.

Well this is a little gem in the Bronx, I don't work too far from El Pipirin and was pleasantly surprised when I saw a couple of co-workers sitting and enjoying some food. I joined my co-workers and played it safe and ordered a chicken taco which to my surprise was quite good. The one chicken taco turned into 2 more chicken tacos. Ive even taken food home to eat from El Pipirin because it was that good. They have drinks too in the pouches and Tequila shots too yummy. They don't have a bathroom so go on an empty bladder, I hope they get a porta potty or something that can ruin a great meal. But if you're in the neighborhood stop by and have a chicken tinga they're great.

El Pipirin is a true Gem in the neighborhood, we feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this little piece of Heaven! The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and authentic — you can taste the Love and Passion in every bite! Moreover, the owners are such beautiful people inside, and out; they show much care towards every single one of their customers and I know they can’t wait to meet you as well!
