Definitely a must try when visiting the area. Delicious food and exceptional customer service!

First time trying this place. Visiting NY
Today was slightly rainy and cloudy.
When I arrived the line was already 7 or 8 people long IN THE RAIN.
A woman who I assume is the owner approached me waiting in line and took my order.

I tried the jerk chicken
Rice and beans
And cabbage
The chicken was so tender and flavorful.
The rice was seasoned perfectly.
The cabbage was slightly sweet in a good way and complimented the meal perfectly.
The cake was amazing!

Definitely recommend trying the food here.
I will go back as much as I can before leaving NY.

Had it on governors island. Food was good, the woman working was really nice. Prices werent too bad either.

This family served me some of the best chicken I have ever had at the Charlie Parker Jazz Festival. When a customer changed their mind on an order, I bought her jerk chicken gyro from the nice gentleman at the counter and selfishly asked if he could throw me some of the curry chicken for taking it off his hands. He obliged with more than I expected (one tiny piece would have been enough just to get a taste; or maybe not because I would have gone back for another gyro after learning how good it was!). This is all to say, that not only is the food incredible, but the service was superb. I am all to excited to learn that they are located right by BECA where my partner works, I will have to meet her for lunch whenever I can!

Amazing Jamaican soulfood, heavenly Sweet Potato Pie, amazing Jerk Chicken and Lentils. Definitely people needs to try this place!
