An excellent Yemeni restaurant, its food is delicious and clean, and the people who work in it are decent and respectful and worth a try 🤙

First of all!!!! If you are on the fence about this place- go for it right now. If you love Palestinian, Lebanese, or Turkish food- you'll definitely love these flavors. This is Yemeni cuisine, something rare to come by even in a diverse place like New York. The food really packs a punch and balances being spiced without being too heavy handed.

I ordered the hummus, falafel, lamb, lentils, honey cake, and lamb stew. The food came with rice, fresh house made hot sauce, and an entire package of pita bread. I wish they offered rice and vegetables as a side but the amount sent with the food happened to be perfect for our dinner for two.

The lamb stew was literally so good I shed an actual tear. It tasted so uniquely homemade it was impossible not to feel the love and tender care put into each part of the meal.

The owner should really get set up with some high quality photos of the food and solidify a social media presence so it's easily found. It would definitely motivate more online orders. A true hidden gem, if I could give a million stars, I would. 100% the local spot to order from when you want something filling and nutritious.

I hope the management of the restaurant and the chef, especially the improvement and development of the level of the mandi, and it will be more beautiful if it is cooked according to the origins of the correct Yemeni way, such as Shabwa and Hadramout
Nevertheless, the food in this restaurant is beautiful and excellent. It is not saturated with fat as is the case in some other Yemeni restaurants. I wish them success and progress, as well as maintaining the level of service and working to develop it every day.

Haneeth حنيد is really dish that I am craving for anytime in mood of authentic Yemeni food
Unfortunately, trying it in numerous food restaurant but the flavor is not kicking until I eat it in this place.
It look to me is new management, the decor is medium , but I am not for decor , I am for food.
I was debating between mandi or haneeth.
It was the best 20.00 haneeth dishes that I spent in my life.
Worth every penny, I am hoping they keeping this way and not to start cutting corner to save, trying to save money may cost you more .
Please, I urge you to keep the food this way and with same generousity and deep flavor , because this place will become the new king in the block..
