“They have the best food here! There’s a lot of options in the store. From breakfast sandwiches to lunch meals. My personal favorite is the white rice with habichuelas with carnitas. So yummy! Don’t forget to try their smoothies and pastelitos.You could have a nice meal just under 10 dollars. I recommend this place. I just hope they expand there is no seating space. You just order and go About your day. They are usually open from 7 AM to 4:30 the latest. (Weekdays as far as I know). I’ve been going to this place for 3 years now. The staff is amazing and attentive.”

“Stumbled upon this little oasis in the Bronx - walking distance from the #BronxZoo! After I showed up at the Bronx Zoo on Wednesday afternoon and saw the sea of humanity waiting to go in. Asked around and was told about this place. The delicious aroma that floats to you when you open the door draws you in. The place is immaculate! Clean lines! Tastefully designed with colors that are warm & soothing. The staff is welcoming and the selections available all looked delectable. I choose my standing order Curried Goat, Rice & Peas with Plantains. The Goat was well seasoned and fell off the bone while still holding its integrity. The rice & Peas were well cooked and flavorful. Sweet Plantains what is there to say; just right. I would highly recommend this place”

This checkers employees were great, the cashier had a great attitude and was very attentive to anything I asked, even suggested adding extra to the burgers. If you to choose go with the Big Buford, is a great choice. Definitely recommend it.”

“Kennedy Chicken is a no-frills fast food fried chicken restaurant. I tried their halal gyro platter. The meat was soft and salty, somewhat greasy, and yet surprisingly didn’t make me feel too gross afterward upon having eaten it. With this said, I didn’t see a spit with meat turning anywhere behind the counter, so I have no idea where they got the meat from, but overall the platter was fine for an inexpensive lunch. To be clear, I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat a gyro platter from here again, but it was serviceable.”

However, the shop is a bit small and there were only few chairs (high chairs) for use which aren't user friendly for old people or people with disabilities.
