My husband and I stopped for lunch today. We both started with the salad bar; great variety of toppings and everything was fresh and delicious. My buffalo wings were done perfectly...juicy on the inside, crispy on the outside and just the right amount of sauce. The Prime Rib Samee was "awesomely delicious," his exact words. Thank you for taking care of us today, Aaron. We will definitely be back soon.
My wife and I were amazed at the service our party of 17 received from Elise. Drink service was prompt, menu questions were all answered, and food came out relatively quickly for a party our size. While we waited we watched as our server handled roughly half the restaurant, easily 50 customers, keeping drinks refilled, delivering food, and effortlessly bussing large tables in between. Easily one of the most impressive servers we’ve ever witnessed. Our food was excellent. Chicken appeared dark at first, but it was expertly cooked, melt in your mouth coating with fall off the bone, tender, moist meat. The fries and other sides at our table were all delicious. Would definitely go again. And however much they’re paying Elise, it isn’t nearly enough.
We went for Mother's Day brunch around 1pm. We walked in and didn't know where to go. There was no hostess or sign that said "please wait to be seated". Throughout the hour and twenty minutes we were there, people came in from either door and weren't greeted, and didn't know where to go to be seated.
Upon someone seeing us, they seated us, but then we had to wait for plates at the buffet, since they were gone. That was a constant issue. Many times there was a line of people just waiting for more plates.
I asked what beer they had on tap, but they apparently don't have any yet. I later found out they do have beer in cans, but the waitress never told me that.
The shrimp and chicken scampi didn't have any shrimp in it. I assume it was either picked through before we got up there, or the quantity of shrimp was just really low compared to chicken. The fried chicken is quite good (and I'm usually not a chicken fan).
Most of the other food tasted pretty good, including the corn, beef stew, mac and cheese, etc.
The problem was that some of the items were completely gone for the duration of our visit, including corn bread and peach cobbler.
Long story short, I'd give it another try, mostly because the food we did have was pretty good, but it's hard to get our money's worth when some of the items were gone, despite the restaurant only ever being at 50-60% capacity.
Dining here used to be blah, now there are so many great choices. The calzone in the pic was amazing and that's only the 1/2 one. The Brunch buffets have been amazing as well, a little bit of everything for all, and if you time it just right you can do breakfast and lunch items.
Had the Easter buffet. It was pretty good. Food was fresh.
