“When we first walked in we were happy because it was very slow at the time and we could just walk up to counter. Cashier was pleasant and quick and employees seemed kind and friendly and the egg sandwich I had was made right then and delicious. However when finding a seat for two I noticed that every table was filthy. Crumbs, stains, wrappers on every single table and booth. I eventually gave up looking and found one less dirty than others and wiped it down with a napkin. Lucky I would never let my food actually touch the table itself. The whole 45 minutes we were there only as we walked out did anyone come to clean tables. I wish I had my son's wipes with me but it's silly to need that at a place of business. I understand that fast food gets busy but I do wish the manager would make the lobby cleanliness a priority. But I do enjoy the food so I will be going again. (hopefully to a cleaner environment)”

“Stopped in on 5/31/19 at 8:14am. Restaurant # 8132. Server Lisa Roth. Fantastic breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly. Eggs were nice and fluffy, bacon was crisp but not burnt. Lisa the host and waitress was polite, friendly, fast and professional. My order was quickly taken and in no time at all my breakfast was delivered. Lisa did a great job in welcoming me. It all was cooked just right. I'm ready to start my day.”

“Went there yesterday. Got spaghetti n meatballs, meatballs were perfect, not mushy or spices n served with plenty of sauce n not buried in cheese. Got chicken sandwich for my mother in law n she enjoyed it too n mashed taters were good. This is our third visit there n always good, gotta try the pizza next, just wish it was 25 miles away. Only disappointment was the slaw, little soupy, oh well,we will return.”

“Angelo's is an Auburn institution--our very first pizza place and, some say, still the best. The pizza is very good, even if the recipe has changed a bit since Angelo sold the place, and the current owner has added chicken wings, which are quite good. In a city that has been overrun by pizza shops in the past 20 years, Angelo's still stands as the most authentic, unpretentious and real among them. I highly recommend banana peppers, sausage and bacon. It's amazing.”

“Best Subway in Auburn NY. Its always clean and the service is always friendly and fast. The store manager, Dyan, always goes out of her way to make customers feel welcome. She also hires students to work here and is extremely patient with them. She also held coordinate a good pantry, which is located next to the Subway. The only drawback to this Subway is that it's located in Cayuga Community College and closed for part of the summer.”

While its wings are very good -- especially when charred and re-sauced -- Swaby's, Parker's and Angelo's all offer very good (if not better) options, depending on the night. A real standout for Nino's is the pickle pizza -- a garlic pizza covered with tasty dill pickles -- which I've never seen anywhere else. It is really good. Prices are a little higher than other places in town, but the food is generally consistent and good.”

I love the general taos and the sesame chicken, but I have tried many other dishes which are all equally as good. The chicken always tastes fresh and is fried to perfection. The chicken is crispy without being burned and is complimented nicely by the rich, thick sauce. They offer a great deal on lunch specials and generous portions for the dinner platters. After trying many different places, I can firmly say that spring garden is definitely the best!”
