    Great place for German food. Live about 30 miles away but still visit a few times a year. Sorry to see that it will be closing for good soon.

    Just a very short distance from the Weedsport exit of the Thruway makes this a great option if you want more than fast food. It has a varied menu and good food in a nice historic setting. I have yet to be disappointed but I only have been here at lunch times and haven't tried the dinners yet.

    Excellent appetizers! Had the calamari and also sausage platter. Our whole table was very pleased with dinner as well. Great local restaurant with quality service. So happy this place is down the road from me and can't wait to back soon.

    We don't go very often, but really should. We make it a point to visit when they offer their Oktoberfest menu. The variety is excellent. They have German entrees, deserts, beer and wine. We were a party of four and we were all extremely happy with our meals.
