Davidson's Family Restaurant

I've gone here since being a kid. It is a family owned business...so much pride is taken in keeping the food and service exceptional. The atmosphere is nice.....comfortable. >Hey Jerry Seinfeld was here,if that tells you anything. His autograph is on a booth seat,so cool!!!

So close to 5 stars. I could easily have given them that. We went with my in-laws on a Friday for fish fry's. We went early and that was good as it got pretty full by the time we left.

The server was very nice and knowledgeable. We all had a seafood dishes. Shrimp, scallops and fish. It was all good. But not quite the best. My wife's scallops were a touch over done and my dish was slightly greasy. Was it enough to say something, no. Was it enough to keep them from getting a five, yes. Will we go back, for sure. Being it's a 90 mile drive to go (our in-laws live there) that says something.

Best fish fry ever. Good fried shrimp. Love the chicken tenders. Amazing peanut butter pie. Great fried chicken. Greasy spoon old school diner. Love it. No frills. Delicious.

I received my food extremely fast, it was a Saturday night too! Fish was delicious and was not expensive at all. Received great service and the waitress was amazing to my kids which you don't always get. Best restaurant in the area for sure.

This is the best place for a fish fry. My family has been coming to Davidson's for many years. When I come home to Jamestown, NY I have to get one. I would give them 5 stars for the food, but not for the waitress we had. Usually their service is excellent. This one seemed to preoccupied with other things to pay attention to us. Not common. I highly recommend you come here. You'll love it.
