One of the owners was there and most enthusiastic about their place. She spoke to the customers who were there during a slow time after lunch and before dinner. The food is a very high quality and their sandwiches show an imagination lacking in other restaurants in the area. My mom liked the squash soup and appreciated that it was hot (instead of lukewarm). My only complaint was I saw the turkey club had mayo, which is totally evil. I asked that it be left off, only to be presented with it sporting garlic aioli - AIOLI IS MAYO. If I didn't want mayo, why would I want aioli??? To their complete credit, they remade the sandwich without any evil condiments. Even the wheat bread they use is fantastic. The best thing I had was an iced mocha latte. It was superb! Rich, strong coffee in that and not to be missed!
Karen you’ve done such a beautiful job turning the atmosphere at MFYM into such a welcoming and cozy space! Fall has arrived and the restaurant looks so lovely!
Your staff love you and it feels great to be apart of a “Dream Team”! ♥️ Keep up the great work we’re all proud to be apart of this with you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It’s such a huge sense of pride to know each and every plate will be delicious and look just as delectable! We’re all doing a great job guys! Let’s keep making those Taste Buds Sing!! 😁 🏆
Also a special shout-out to Chef Erik for making our jobs easy by insuring the guests love each and every plate placed in front of them! 😉
My wife and I just enjoyed an amazing dining experience at this long-awaited fine dining restaurant in Mayville.
The music-themed dining room has a warm, friendly vibe, and the food and service are an octave above other area restaurants. I had beef Wellington that was perfectly prepared. My wife enjoyed a lobster over gluten-free pasta dish. If they can maintain this level of flavor and service, there will be a line out the door. We were told they are waiting on their license to serve alcoholic beverages. The only thing missing tonight was a nice wine to accompany the delicious entrees.
We had dinner and coffee at Music For Your Mouth while passing through town tonight. In the hustle and bustle of today sometimes you crave nothing more then a good meal and a table to sit and converse with family or friends - whether inside where I had an artisan crafted espresso drink (made with beans roasted just down the street!) resembling more of a cafe vibe, or outside where we had dinner in the beautifully lit front porch resembling an inviting courtyard bistro - this restaurant exceeded our expectations and desires. The food was incredible! The Reuben egg rolls were one of my favorites and fit the elevated simplicity vibe of the restaurant perfectly, and the Beef Wellington was tender and cooked to perfection. The staff demonstrated a level of professionalism and service while managing to remain warm and hospitable. We got to meet the owners, and it really felt like a family environment welcoming us, the customers, with open arms. The food truly was “music for your mouth”, but even more so the overall experience and staff were nourishment for your soul. I can’t wait to go back soon!
super nice staff, we were surprised at how attentive they were. it seems to border between table service and walk-up counter style which is a bit bizarre. food was good although a bit pricey. but you can tell they really care about the food they are serving. still, i probably wouldn’t pay $11 for the avocado toast again. from the reviews page they seem new? maybe once they get their footing and flow it’ll be a destination stop.
