I am local to the area and have eaten here several times. We love atmosphere, the food and the service. After reading several reviews from the last month I felt I needed to clarify one of them from a 1 star reviewer named Joseph. I was also having dinner at the same time as this gentleman and his party. We had arrived here after attempting to have dinner at another local establishment down the road. Upon arriving we had noticed that they were rather busy as was every other restaurant in town on a Saturday night in the summer. We were seated rather quickly and noticed that our waitress was very upset and crying. It didn't take long for us to figure out what was happening. Our waitress was also waiting on another table that was very vocal and very rude to her. We could hear everything they were saying and were honestly appalled and offended that you could treat anyone this way. EVERYONE is entitled to a bad day. But it appeared to my party that he had talked his bad day out on the waitress. People in food service are not lesser than you and you get back what you put in. We had absolutely no issues with this girl, the manager or the restaurant. They are certainly not missing out on this man and his party not returning. But honestly you would be if you listened to this man's rantings and didn't at least give it a try. Please feel free to mail me your $15 gift card if you don't want it because I will use it.
Just found this place despite previous visits to western NY. Loved the service and the food. Amanda provided fast, not rushed, friendly service. She even took a family picture for us. Huge portions of food came out promptly, correct, hot and delicious. This will be a must visit every year going forward when we visit this part of the state.
Cozy place located in a marina near the Chadakoin River and Chautauqua Lake. The menu is a front/back page of what you'd expect - appetizers, burgers, pasta, seafood, etc.
I had shrimp over linguine with already sauce. It came out in a large bowl, but the serving size was just about perfect for a guy my size. The pasta was well done and the shrimp were quite large.
My meal was preceded by a salad with a nice raspberry Italian dressing. I also ordered a cup of lobster bisque that was fine, just not a standout.
My wife had the fish fry with French fries. It was pretty large so she had enough to take home. She said that it was a good meal.
Or server was attentive and cheerful, as was the rest of the staff. The owner came by several times to check on us, which was nice.
All in all, good food for a good price. Definitely come by and give it a shot.
