Jimmy's Family Restaurant

Ill start with I want this place to succeed, but our first time going and not sure we will go back unless some changes are made regarding the service. We waited over 40 minutes for an appetizer (a simple one at that).. they brought it out and before we got one bite in the rest of the food came out too. There were only 3 tables seated including us. Food was good, our server was new but also very nice. Also as a family restaurant I think kids could get their own paper menu with a couple crayons. Hope things improve.

Sunday morning breakfast did not disappoint. Freshly cooked eggs, hash browns, sausage. Fresh coffee, and of course delicious ice cream. The surprising thing about breakfast was that the place got even more crowded later Sunday morning after Church let out!

Everything was excellent. Food was fabulous. Price was high however potions are justified. Do not believe the bad gossip. We were very pleased. Highly recommend the smothered chicken.

This mornings breakfast experience was pretty good! Quickly seated, order taken almost immediately and food was served in under 10 minutes. Service was good, no complaints. Food was average. We will go back again. Although there are negative reviews online, we did not experience those things today ourselves.

Great place for breakfast! Calm atmosphere with soothing music playing. Wait staff was very attentive and made sure my coffee was filled at the right times that it was needed. My waitress had a nice balance between making sure I had what I needed and time for me to enjoy my food. My waitress even made sure I had a coffee to go for my day's travels. She was very friendly and I felt welcomed to be going to this location for breakfast. I observed the wait staff treating other customers at the time of this visit in a similar fashion to myself which I feel is positive and indicates possible good customer service overall to all breakfast customers. This visit I had the chicken and waffles. It was perfectly done with the right amount of syrup of not too much and not too little. Chicken and waffles components were perfectly cooked. The chicken had a slight crunch on the outside while being juicy but cooked throughly on the inside. The waffles were done perfectly as well. The syrup used I felt complemented the other components in the dish. I felt the dish had a good presentation of my food on the plate. Overall, the restaurant was clean and the table that I was at was stocked with variety of types of sugar/sugar substitutes as well as various creamers to choose from. I found it nice to have a variety to choose from for my morning coffee. The lady's bathroom was clean and well stocked in working order from what I could tell.
