Great food and even better ice cream. Offers tons of options and has decent prices. Owner is always willing to help out with in the community and the bike nights are lots of fun.

I always like the food here. The service is always good. Decent prices. Very popular place because of food & ice cream. If u can't have lactose, the Strawberry Sorbet is awesome! Can eat outside or in; however, if u dine inside 2 stay away from insects, not going 2 happen. Because it's such a busy place, the doors r constantly being opened. U may have 2 fight of a fly or 2!

Gilligan's always has good food and interesting specials. Their home made ice creams are great. So, why not 5 stars? The wrap special I got could have been put together better, all the vegetables on one side, all the meat and cheese on the other.

Sherburne is a small town on Rt.12 in Central NY. For as long as I remember, Gilligan's has been in town
It looks like it could be just another small town ice cream stand. You will want to just drive by. Don't! The homemade ice cream is phenomenal and comes in flavors like Decadent Chocolate, Happy Wife, or Raider Passion (my favorite as a Colgate grad). And the food is super great, too. Good, good burgers!

I would normally give Gilligan's 5 stars, because the food is consistently delicious. They have the best burgers, surpassed only by their amazing ice cream. My only complaint is that they always put side orders in the same takeout box as one of the burgers, meaning we have to rearrange and handle food to figure out whose is whose. Still,this is a family favorite with reasonable prices.
