Platts’ Burger

I'm biased! These people are friends of mine. If they were not excellent, I would not post. Excellent, they are! I had the Porky's burger. It is two smash burgers with fried pork belly and jalapeño jam. Superb quality and wonderful flavor. The meal comes with fries.

Had a Texas Rodeo Burger w\onion rings and the other is a Smash Burger and both are served with fries. I believe the pictures pretty much speak for themselves!

Kris the head cook has been part of the community for years as a DJ, HVAC sales & repair, and now Mr. Fix It Group. Marie (Kris's) girlfriend was the owner/bartender\waitress and used to work in the social services field so they work well together.

Straight from the source they are trying to make a family friendly space were everyone in the community feels appreciated & welcomed. They have a jukebox, pool table, darts, with live music and possibly karaoke to come in the near future.

Please support this business because Plattsburgh needs more community oriented restaurants. When you are done eating visit Second Images in the same plaza (shameless plug) which is owned by Donna our local barber at Joe's in Skyway plaza.

Went for lunch - had a little over an hour, so figured that was plenty of time for 2 burgers and fries. I ordered the blueberry Brie bacon burger, husband got the mac and cheese burger.
We waited an hour for our food to come out and finally asked if we could cancel our order. Meanwhile there were 3 or 4 other tables that came and went while we were sitting, as well as several to go orders.

While trying to cancel the order, our food came out and we ended up eating in the car. The blueberry bbq sauce was good, but the burger was so greasy it lost all the appeal.
Husband really liked the mac and cheese burger.
We will probably give them more time to figure out staffing and the menu and try again, but I was really disappointed with our first visit.

Everything was great, except how there was only 2 napkins on the table and the bottom bun was soggy.

Pretty good burger and a nice bun, had the blueberry smash burger. Flavors were good. Sweet potato fries a little soggy. But all around a great meal!! Hope to see more come in the future!
