The building is very unassuming when you pull up. But once you get inside the decor is so cute, the menu is has gnome puns all over it and the service is top notch. Very nice, will be back

Went for the first time last night and I was very impressed. There were 3 others besides me, and they loved their food but I can only speak to what I had. The corn fritters we're incredibly good, and surprisingly not greasy for being deep fried, and the Reuben was one of the best I've had in a long time, and probably tied for the best I've ever had. We went around 6:30 and were seated right away. The only recommendation I have is that a drink menu be given when sitting in the dining room. Because we got right in I didn't hang out up front to realize the counter was actually a bar, and the regular menu only has coffee, tea, water, juice, etc. I would have ordered a beer if I knew it was an option.

This place is the most welcome opening in years. The former restaurant was a favorite of the locals, and the replacement is more than welcome, and should do fine. We certainly hope so. Inside is improved; looks more modern, but much like the old version. A few tips for the new owners: 1. Build a deck in the back for summer outdoor eating, and as a place where people with dogs can eat with them (dogs not allowed in NY indoors in eateries). 2. Maybe a special at night; the menu is good, but could use an additional nightly meal. Classic Rib Roast on Friday apparently is very popular, 3) Menu has a "Classic Benedict" but it is described and served without any meat, which is usually Canadian Bacon, according to Google. Otherwise, not classic. Maybe call it a 'Gnome' Benedict' or, better yet, add the bacon (at additional price, of course).

We visited the gnome bistro friday night and got the west coast chicken sandy!! Soo delicious.. the service was great and the atmosphere was sooo inviting!! I love that they have chatham brew beer on tap!! Had to get the cheesecake for dessert and boy was that good!!! Had to go back Saturday night and tried a couple other things off the menu and everything was soo yummy!! So excited to have such a great restaurant so close to home that offers breakfast/lunch/ and dinner options!! 10/10 definitely recommend and will be making it my go to spot!!!

Our first visit exceeded our expectations, someone really knows what they are doing in the kitchen. My french dip was dreamy and I already want to go back and order it again. I love the refreshed decor and the servers were great. With the influx of finer dining establishments in the area it is refreshing to have a new place that is both casual on the wallet AND putting out excellent food. We will be back, and I recommend you visit them too!
