Zinnia’s Dinette

Had a great meal here! I had the fried fish - perfectly crunchy on the outside with flaky, tender fish. My partner had a sort of fried vegetable fritter - feta, mushroom, and pickled peppers - which she really enjoyed. We both brought home leftovers. The decor is bright and friendly. Look forward to returning!

My friend and I are visiting Hillsdale/Copake and made a point to stop here for lunch after seeing the good reviews here. They're not wrong. The interior is all eye candy, so fun and bright! And the food was really excellent. Everything we had was fresh and flavorful. I got salt cod fritters which were one of the specials, and oh man they were good. Crispy outside, soft inside, not greasy. Would definitely come back if I'm ever in the area again.

Do yourself a favor.. stop whatever you're doing, immediately, and head out towards Zinnia's Dinette! Through total happenstance, my son and I were driving by, and we stopped in for one of the best dining experiences of our lives! Food and atmosphere, superb! AMAZING.

This is my new favorite eatery! I've been a few times now and have never been disappointed. The decor is cheery and the food is outstanding. I plan on working my way through the menu, but today I've tried the Rhode Island style calamari which is fantastic, the buttermilk chicken sandwich (also beyond delicious) and most recently the chowder of the day which, in this case was cod, a variety of seafood, broccoli, cauliflower with a green Thai chili flair. So good! Also, do yourself a favor and have the sesame sundae. You're welcome!

So thrilled Zinnia’s Dinette has arrived! It is great to have their offerings: seafood, salads, soups and even a fantastic soft serve ice cream/sundae bar. The restaurant space is gorgeous and cheery. My party had the fried chicken, a seafood sandwich and the crab cake, all of which were delicious and well seasoned. There were also lots of great and novel choices on the menu: when was the last time you had smelt?! It’s been a second for me—why? They are delicious and expertly fried here.

The outdoor seating is also not to be missed while it is warm enough to enjoy. Don’t miss out and get to Zinnia’s today!
