“Stopped here on our way home. It’s just off the Taconic. Best “diner” we’ve ever been to. We shared the Greek salad (comes in 2 sizes), clam chowder (2 sizes also), the Reuben sandwich and a scoop of Jane’s vanilla ice cream with hot fudge, burnt honey caramel and sprinkles. We loved every bite of all we had! We ordered the salad as our side with the sandwich. The greens and tangy lemony dressing were tasty. Although the clam chowder did not have a ton of clams, we prefer quality to quantity and the soup was flavorful and delicious. As for the Reuben, we ordered it on sourdough and got the sauce on the side. It was incredible! Since it was close to closing time on Sunday and they are closed early in the week, we missed out on the homemade baked goods. We will be back! Our entire feast before tip was just under $40. Very affordable for the quality of ingredients and the skill of the kitchen.”

“We went here after an event with our running club. There were about 20 of us and -- it was my understanding, anyway -- that the restaurant knew we were coming. Even so, they seemed a little overwhelmed and it took a long time to get our orders. Still, it's a nice place to spend time. They have a nice selection of beers and the food, when it came, was very good and worth the wait. The dining room and bar we're immaculately clean and the spaces we're bright and welcoming. I'd go back when we return to the nearby State Park.”

“A little less than knocked out. Had the ribs, $15 for a slab is just too good to pass up. The ribs where meaty and tender, yet still had a good bite the way ribs should. But although I like smoke, these may have crossed the line a bit. They had almost a campfire thing going on rather than a deep mellow smoked flavor. They where also packed swimming in sauce. The sauce was good, decent heat and a nice balance of vinegar and sweet, but too much of a good thing. I know I'm in New York and not Georgia, and it was getting close to closing so something might have been off. But The next time, I think I'll try the pulled pork.”

“Saw it while biking and decided to stop in . Had a pork roast( 3 nice slices) ,green beans ,roasted carrots, coffee and vanilla cup cakes. The pork roast was perfectly seasoned and prepared. The best I've ever had! The veggies were delicious. The prices were reasonable. The dining area is small and like a deli and the food is great!”
