Azul Oneonta NY

Oh my goodness. It was amazing authentic Mexican restaurant finally in Oneonta. I do wish their hours of operation were longer. But wow great food.

Great experience..... Being a foody we look for new foods to tickle our palates. We decided to try this wonderful new place. The food was excellent. The empinatas were done in a flaky crust. This left us a little
let down as we like them in the dough discos with annatto. However the tacos were devine. The steak taco were cooked deliciously. Juicy and tender mmm. The chicken enchiladas with the green chili sauce and Blanco cheese was delicious. 10 star out of for the tacos. Restaurant was different but quaint. A must try for a good eat.

Went with my wife who is a crazy big fan of Central American food. We moved to this area a few years ago from an area that had many options for that style.

Azul puts them all to shame. The food was incredible. I'll be making this a once a week stop.

Finally! The area badly needed some good Mexican food. Probably need to drive to Albany to find a place with this level of quality. Had the enchiladas verdes and they were excellent. Can't wait to try everything on the menu!

I just had to check out this new restaurant and I am extremely happy I did. I called ahead and ordered an Angus Carne asada burrito(not pictured), two mexican hot chocolates(not pictured) and an Angus Carne asada quesadilla to go. They were hot and ready when I arrived and tasted so delicious and authentic. The service was also a step above the rest. I was juggling all the food and the hot chocolate with my toddler in tow. One of the owners came to my aid and walked me all the way to my car holding the hot chocolate. She even waited with my son while I loaded the food. I absolutely recommend trying out this new gem of a Mexican restaurant. It is to be noted at this time it is cash only.
