Greenane Farms

uh. I have traveled far and wide through byways and hiwayz of this great nation. And after wheels and gas, the most important component of life on the road is food and drink... which brings me to justification of my superlative review. I enjoy dining Mexican because of several concious choices, $$$ economy, nutritional value, and universal abailability, and my personal taste .

This week past I enjoyed a late afternoon meal at greenane restaurant. And to say the least I was pleasantly and honestly overwhelmed by how wonderful the early dinner was. First the setting is very open and laid back, if you think it is abandoned look for the hanging bell and give a few rings. That was how we met our hostess/ waitress who was both sweet and refreshing a charm that you can seldom see in a corporate/ chain setting. We were essentially in a family home business and it felt like coming " home" .

As far as the actual eats, it was off the proverbial chart. How the simplest combination of foods could be over powering in taste and satisfaction are a testament to the skillls and talents of the cookstaff. nachos so fresh that they were like feathers and a salsa that made subtle and delicate suggestion to its fire roasted heritage. along with kale salad were a joy.
The tamales were absolutely crafted careful and perfectly designed and delivered . Food that made you go ummmm. How often do you have food that gets you go and thank the preparer personally? ??

I found a treasure gem in the middle of nowhere. I got seriously lucky . and will wish the Greenane family prosperity , protection and best of luck. They earned this review from the heart. rare today In deed. bravobravobravo, ole'
