“Great cuisine, great service every time. I eat here with friends at least once a month and each time, the food is consistently good, service is probably the best in beacon. The wait staff is well trained and very accommodating to customer requests. This is the one restaurant I always recommend to anyone visiting beacon for the first time! It’s getting harder and harder to find good service when you go out to eat in beacon but I never have to worry about it here.”

“Tried a savory crepe (turkey, egg, and cheese) here for the first time. The wait was very long (over 20 minutes) after we put in our order of 2 crepes even though the place wasn't packed. Only saw 2 griddles. The dish came with a side salad and a sauce that added flavor to the crepe. Would like to try a sweet crepe sometime.”

“I'm a big fan of Subway restaurants however I'm really annoyed that the corporate office floods my market with coupons on a regular basis and none of the for Subway restaurants in my area accept any of their coupons. They repeatedly get my hopes up and get me excited for going in and getting a better deal and then when I'm told I can't use the coupon. I called the corporate office to complain about the money they're wasting on coupons that no one can use and yet they still continue to show up in my mailbox. That's the reason I only gave them three stars because I feel as a company they're wasting a lot of money.”

“They make pretty good pizza and Mexican food and have been a staple in Beacon for years. They're my preferred pizza place if I just want some plain slices or a plain pie. They're located right on Main Street so they have great access. There's also a huge parking lot out back with a back door if you can't find parking on the street.”

“What a gem of a surprise. Walked into the Town Crier over the weekend for a light lunch and ended coming back on Sunday with a group of 7 for brunch. The atmosphere was relaxing & tranquil with 2 local music artist playing. The menu had an extensive choice for brunch along with an array of equal or better lunch options. It was fantastic and we all enjoyed our food choices but we all shared a bite of each others plate.”

“I have eaten here for years. The food is good, simple and inexpensive. They serve a Meat Patty, that is just great. It is just a bit spicy, but not overly hot. This is a nice snack to tide you over until dinner. Today I had a Cheese Burger and Fries. The Fries were freshly made, and hot on the plate. It came with a drink (Soda) , which was nice. The owner is always very welcoming to me, each time I walk in, He will say "How are you my fiend, I have not seen you in a while" Here they are a Cash Only establishment, and there is no public restroom. “I visited Draught Industries tonight, 12/26. The beer list was solid. I had some beers from a brewery that I’ve never tried before (Relic Brewery), which were awesome. I did not have any food, so I can’t speak to that. I asked the bartender, “what’s the best dark beer you have on tap?” He couldn’t think of a single one, and just shoved a beer menu at me, not offering any input. There’s a list of the beers on the wall. I didn’t need to see a menu, I just wanted advice/his opinion. Most bartenders are knowledgeable about the beer they serve. As someone who’s worked in the food and beverage industry for 7 years, I just feel like you should be able to describe products that your restaurant/bar sells. Anyway, I ended up loving the beer I chose. To be honest, I would have given this place a 4 or 5 star rating, but I read some of the comments that the owner made towards people leaving negative reviews, and it left a super bad taste in my mouth. For that reason, and that reason alone, I probably won’t return.”

“Enjoyed an overnight stay at this converted industrial hotel overlooking Beacon's stunning waterfall. Spare but beautifully designed with cozy lounge with fireplace and an elegant restaurant- both overlooking the falls. Recommend rooms in the main building in winter with a view of the falls. The sound of rushing water can make it difficult to sleep so bring earplugs if you go. Beds are warm and comfortable but there's only an upright desk chair for reading. Quaint town with good food and activities nearby...or just chill and enjoy the view.”
