Great prices on drinks. One of my favorite places to go.
Friendly place, great people, live entertainment, cozy atmosphere. I love it there!????????❤️
Good place for a cold Beer!!!bar tender are not bad to look at too!!
Nice place, like the beach patio with the sand
This place is pretty awesome & doesn't try to be something it's not. It's a true local dive bar that has been around longer than I've been a live. When you walk inside you're transported back in time to the days when bars provided more than just a place for people to get drunk. They have so many old school games & the largest shuffle board I've ever seen! I even caught a glimpse of an ancient artifact (pictured) while scoping the place out. How cool is it that they still have a pay phone?!?! Yes, it was a bummer that it didn't actually work, but still!!
The outdoor space is unbelievable. They added this "Beach Yard" not too long ago & the thing is crazy. It's like being at a beach bar (minus the ocean & forgiving the fact that it's in the middle of a city) complete with sand and a treasure chest. Plus, they have live music outside in the summer and you can enjoy it with an ice-cold beer.
Okay last, but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST, this place gets a 5-star because they probably haven't change their prices since prohibition! They have $2 cans of bud, bud lt, & coors on Tuesdays and $4 GIANT glasses of house wine on Wednesday. I met the owners & they said they didn't grow up with money and they want people to be able to enjoy a night out no matter their situation.
I highly recommend you check it out if you want a place you can just show up to and be yourself. No glitz or glam, just the glory. A place to grab a beer, play the bowling game for a quarter, and grab some traditional pub food that isn't straight from the freezer. Did I mention the outdoor space?!?
Anyways, I promise you'll love this place if you want to be a true localist and support small business. If you're searching for a trendy spot to grab a craft IPA and an organic, non-fat, gluten-free, vegan, kale salad... You'll hate this place.
