I want to give this restaurant five stars but over the recent years with the economy getting crappy, the quality of the food has also seem to be slightly less than what it was, although it is still great, Mike tries to keep the prices down for his fellow friends and customers in the community. Years ago you couldn't find a finer steak dinner in the local area, it is still much better than anything that you'll get from a local diner or chain restaurant. The bartenders and waitresses staff is always friendly and kind. The drinks are great and it is a nice little cozy place to get a meal. You can have a conversation in the dining area as it is usually pretty quiet. It's quick and easy to get to from the Taconic Parkway just on route 55 in Lagrange

The food was outstanding. We mostly had sandwiches and salads that were cooked perfectly, not over seasoned and tender meats. I wish I had a bigger appetite to order one of their steaks. The owners and staff were the most pleasant people on this side of the Mississippi river.
