Bought my Dad a carrot cake here and it was incredible. Best frosting I ever had on a carrot cake by a mile! Also the lady who helped me was so friendly and upbeat it was a very pleasant transaction. They also offered to write a message on the cake and did so very quickly while I waited which was more than I expected walking in.

At the moment you arrive in that place they give you a good feeling. Very courteous hosts, it is a lovely restaurant to hang out with buddies or with your date. yummy meals, talented chief cook and stuff, comfortable pay and professional service. Highly recommended.

You will never be disappointed but you likely won't be wowed either as it's on the pricier side for what it is...Tavern food. It's positives are extremely consistent food and service that meets expectations time and again. We always look forward to their meals and our kids like to pop over to the bakery for a cookie after too as a bit of a fun ritual.

This is THE place if you want the best brunch and dinner in the Hudson Valley. The menu options will please every palette and it’s high quality food is reasonably priced. No need to remember when...go and enjoy your best dish of hot blueberry pancakes with warm - real - maple syrup, homemade breads, yup - real fresh fruit, wonderful salads with fresh mixed greens — not stale or tasteless Roman or iceberg lettuce. Love their fish and steak dishes. They offer unique + yummy Mexican dishes. Fancy cocktails, great bar fully loaded, and the best coffee and cozy pots of hot tea. Anyone you bring will be fully satisfied with the food. It’s charming atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel welcome and at ease. We always bring home a bunch of treats from their bakery. It’s impossible to resist when every morsel is worth the calories. Enjoy!!! A+++++++

After almost 2 years of being in this area, I finally can say I’ve had brunch at McKinney & Doyle’s!

    No regrets were given!

I’ve come here a few times to pickup some croissants/pastries or a quick coffee on the go. I’ve never actually sat down and ate anything more than a muffin or something. Finally, we came in with some friends and I have to say: I was not disappointed at all.

Great service, awesome servers and delicious food. It’s a nice little spot in this area for a nice brunch. I only tried the Belgian waffles so I can’t really speak about the rest but I do know they have amazing quality food. The Belgian waffle was something I could’ve ordered out of the Butcher’s Daughter menu in the city. IT WAS THAT GOOD!

When we got there, there was about a 20 min wait that we didn’t really have the time for. Once we told the host we were going to just grab something to go in the other area, she quickly made some changes or I don’t know what she did but she got us a table and made sure we did not walk out of there without sitting down. I really appreciated that since it truly goes to show they care about their customers and making everyone happy.

Can’t wait to come back again. I may or may not try something new since it’s a little hard to not order waffle again since it was soooo good!
