4.5 Great spot for an afternoon cocktail. Friendly staff and good food.

A friend and I stopped in for drink before dinner at the Culinary Institute. She asked the bartender if he new how to make my favorite drink Skeleton Key, he didn't of the top of his head but was happy to look it up and make one for me. It was delicious, better even than the one we had at the Dorset Inn in Dorset Vermont which is where I discovered it. Ambiance was warm, welcoming and the walls were covered with cool old artifacts and prints. Service was very attentive and friendly. My specialty cocktail was only $12 which I thought was quite reasonable. Definitely would recommend this place!

My friend and I have gone to Liberty twice recently. It’s very convenient when you go to a movie at Upstate Films. I love the outdoor seating along the side which has vines covering it. So nice to have a private and quiet place to eat. The food and service is good. My friend had the same meal both times !

My mom and I had the $14.00 fix price 3 course lunch . What a value. Vegetable soup delicious. I had the meat loaf with mashed potatoes. Just perfect. I love meat loaf. My mom had the hanger stake . She said it was one of the best stakes she has had. By the time we got the desert , chocolate mousse we could hardly eat it. I highly recommend this place

I ordered a lunch special with vegetable soup, Atlantic salmon with kale salad, and a chocolate pudding. The classic French soup had a great taste with a variety of vegetables like zucchini, carrots, and tomatoes. The main course had a kale salad with a crunch of pistachios and sweet cranberries. I was surprised at first at the size of the slice of salmon, but later realized it would be a lot of food if the size were bigger. The chocolate pudding was thick,creamy, and sweet. It was topped with whipped cream, blueberries and mint. Overall my meal was pretty enjoyable and I would definitely recommend dining at the Liberty Public House.
