Great pasta
I give 4 stars for the Bravo Pasta. The "build your own" is a great service, and I'm always pleased with the result. But there's always a negative with something that popular; the line to get food is typically 20-25 minutes from the time you get there until getting your food. At peak times it's longer, and then there's the rare occasion when it's briefer. Next to Bravo Pasta is an area where sandwiches are made, and I've never seen more than 6 people waiting at any time, and some of them are probably there because they don't want to wait on the line for Bravo Pasta. At the risk of sounding cruel to those who would seek paninis, management should realize that there are just way too many people in the Bravo Pasta line, and replace the sandwich side with another Bravo Pasta station. There's more food downstairs in the food court, and I'm sure the sandwich diehards can find something palatable there. Another negative is that some students (i.e. children) just cut the Bravo Pasta line to join their friends who are already in line, and nobody says anything. I once spoke up, saying that it's not fair to the people already in line, and the person who cut (and friends) looked at me like I was insane. They'll have a wake-up call if they try that in the outside world, but the insular environment at school lets them get away with it, and they get to pretend like they're still in high school a bit longer.
Highly recommend - Monolito and Maurice really finesse the pasta. It’s fun to watch & even yummier than you’d think. The 30 minute line is worth it for something so cheap and so good!!
The best thing served here is the pasta. Its the best $10 you'll ever spend on lunch if you're willing to wait in the 30 minute queue.
Your pasta will be prepared in front of you behind a glass counter, quite fun to watch!
Be sure to include extra shrimp with the chicken if you're having the Chicken Alfredo option. If you don't eat meat I wouldn't find this pasta worth your money. You could try something else among the many varieties of food CDS has.
