This place is on but off most of the time when it comes to service for a blue collar man... The bartenders don't know how to make a proper cocktail. The good thing is most nights theres plenty of beautiful women.
Slow service at dinner despite not looking crowded. Mediocre food: I wasn't a big fan of anything I tried. The pizza rolls were interesting - liked the dipping sauce but didn't care for the deep-fried casing around the pizza filling. I realized I'm just an old fashioned Frank's hot sauce chicken wing fan and didn't really care for the Smitty-style wings. The PB&J burger is just that. PB&J slathered on top of a burger. Interesting, but I can't say they complimented each other. I asked for the rare side of medium rare-it came without a hint of pink. The server said she'd never served it to anyone who'd been disappointed. Sorry, you can't say that any longer. On the pro side, there is a great choice of on tap beer and interesting cocktail list. Maybe consider having dinner elsewhere and reserve 40 Thieves for late night drinking.
Great beer, mainly from local breweries as well as large portions of tweeted bar food items. We had deviled eggs that were deep fried, an avocado bread dip as well as a lunch tray full of fries covered in a deconstructed turkey hoagie mixture. It was all great. These were all apps, yet enough to feed three - four people. The atmosphere was fun and party like with rock from the nineties turned up. We will be back.
Always a great time. They have a huge selection of craft beer. I've never had anything bad to eat here, and service is always great either from a waiter or bartender. It's especially nice during the summer when they open up the garage doors for the patio!
