My family and I were happy to try out a new desi restaurant. The interior was beautiful, and there's much promise as a dine-in restaurant. The staff was warm, and the hospitality was amazing. With that itself, we were ALMOST able to forgive the lackluster and disappointing quality of the food.

The chicken tikka and chicken bihari kebab seemed to have the exact same spice mix, and didn't have the heat usually found in Bengali cuisine. The butter chicken used the same chicken from the kebabs doused in a tasteless sauce-- not at all what was expected from a butter chicken curry. Everything needed a pinch more salt. The fried rice didn't have any of the distinct flavours of fried rice found in Asian or Indo-Asian fusion cooking, and seemed confused. Again, the flavor was off, and needed more salt. I understand that this is a brand new restaurant and they may upgrade the quality of the food in the future however, which is why I intend to give it another try in a few months. I would like to just chalk this up to the chef having a bad day.

Without a doubt, this sort of fare is good for non-Bengali palates. If you don't usually eat Bengali food or feel intimidated by spice profiles, I would recommend this restaurant. If you're used to bolder flavours (as seen in typical Bengali cuisine), I'd still recommend trying it out but try not to have high hopes.

The chicken fried rice and the chicken shish kabab were outstanding. Total like $11-$12. But worth of every penny. Taste fantastic and quantity was ok

A hidden gems

Good food ...kabab is tasty . Fried rice exceptional. Next time will try biriani and chicken over rice . Fresh salad too .

Price is more than reasonable

It's an excellent restaurant. They have quality foods and the foods are very delicious. They have better sitting arrangements. I would encourage everyone to visit here. You will love their hospitality and outstanding services. They also have a parking lot as well which is in the backside.

Tried their lamb chop which comes with plain rice. The food is 10/10.
Thai soup is best in town. 10/10
Their rice pudding is also good.
