Awesome! Went for a birthday get together and spent time out on the patio warmed with plenty of heaters. Great set up in pandemic life. Felt safe. Great food. Elijah was an awesome instructor/coach. Will definitely be returning

It was amazing. Enjoyed the outdoor patio and had some drinks and food. Elijah was an amazing teacher and we had a blast with him. Will definitely come back again.

I had a great time at their patio. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. The staff here are really helpful and friendly, and their pizza was great. Come on down.

Hosted our Jack and Jill bachelor/ bachelorette party here. Super accommodating! Amazing staff! Funny and personable! Street parking was easy to find.

Only con: music was on the loud side which made it difficult to hear others when you weren't seated and had to be wearing a mask. Also made it tough to hear the staff members directions at times.

Management at Hatchets and Hops know what they’re doing. I remember when they opened their Main Street location back in 2017. The concept of throwing hatchets at a board similar to a game of darts was unbeknownst to me at the time, but I quickly became infatuated with it. Plus, they serve beer.

Now they have expanded and have a new location in Black Rock. Everything about this place is outstanding. It’s always nice to see older architecture being preserved and utilized in a way that benefits the surrounding community.

With these strange times we are experiencing, it’s comforting to know staff at Hatchets and Hops takes their cleanliness seriously. And I mean very seriously. Everyone wears a mask, there are proper spacing procedures in place and all surfaces are routinely disinfected. I don’t believe I have ever seen a cleaner bar. I write this in earnest.

If you’re looking for a reason to get out of your home or apartment, this may just be the one.
