Las Puertas Buffalo

Food was good but expected more for $85. Dishes were creative and tasty. Drinks likewise. However, we would not go back as the value was not there for us. Expect to at least go home full. Instead we went home thinking some of that was good, some was great, and we are still a little hungry.

We had an incredible eight course food experience, the kind that one would expect in a restaurant district of New York City, not on Buffalo's west side. Each small plate was a delight. Not a cheap meal, but worth every bite of beautifully presented, complex flavored joy. The atmosphere is strangely comfortable for such high end treats. The eight course meal is what you get, no need to struggle over choices, however the chef also accommodated our no four legged diet issues. Just a great slow, delectable eating experience.

Phenomenal experience. Be prepared to trust your palate to chef Victor and you won't be disappointed. His tasting menu makes you feel like your living an episode of top chef or at some high end restaurant in New York city or Los angels. Yes, it's pricey but the level of food and service makes it worth it. Highly recommended!

Hanna down the best place to eat in Buffalo. The food was simply amazing. Every dish was presented beautifully and they all tasted even better then they looked. I can't recommend this place enough.
