COVID Update: The place is beautiful, the seats are far apart and airy. There were candles lit and the bar had great cocktails.

There’s only one burger on the menu, if you’re looking for them, and it was great! We had a burger and the night’s special and my partner loved the special! Dip your burger into the white sauce, the creme fraiche and you won't regret it. Don’t be afraid to try a special if the waitress mentions there is one!

First the good:
The cocktails were refreshing, creative and fun. The "pool buddy" was an easy to drink, balanced bourbon based cocktail, and the "battleship" was pleasant as well.
The Detroit pizza and Pasta Bolognese were prepared well and tasted excellent.
The restaurant is also set up very well for the pandemic, with more than 8ft between tables.

The bad:
I wish I could say the menu was nearly as inspired as the cocktail list, but it wasn't. For a restaurant that uses locally sourced ingredients and makes an effort to pass itself off as more of a gourmet experience, I expected more to the menu than pizza, pasta, and a double cheeseburger. When there are many options within 10 min walk that offer more creative menus that taste just as great and are similarly priced or less expensive, it's hard to find a compelling reason to choose Marble & Rye. It's important to note that the menu changes every day according to what ingredients are seasonal/locally available, but this means an inconsistent experience.

If you are feeling lucky, stop by Marble & Rye to check out the menu. If not, there are plenty of good options around the block. Has the potential to be 4 or 5 stars, but the menu needs to be better.

Marble & Rye is a delicious restaurant with a great atmosphere, staff, and food. Their extensive cocktail list has something for everyone and the staff is more than willing to make a suggestion. The food is always delicious and the menu has a little something for everyone regardless of their dietary needs.

After having a miscommunication on an order, the staff and the owner went out of their way to generously correct the mistake and I am so appreciative. 10/10 would recommend! Definitely one of my favorite spots in Buffalo!

Enjoyed their food here a few times and most recently for takeout for the bills game. Burgers were phenomenal and I have never had a bad meal here

OMG. Delicious. We've never started a review like this, but this place deserves it. The NY style dough bread was delicious. Crispy and the combination of ricotta, fresh tomatoes and peach was simply unique. The double cheese was also cooked to perfection. To wrap up, the sweet corn creme brulee was amazing, something we've never had before. Service was fast and friendly. Nothing but compliments. A+.
