Mister Pizza Elmwood

This place is fabulous. They have what I consider to be the best gluten free pizza in the world. Maybe there are other parts of the galaxy where gluten free pizza's are made in space stations that are done better then Mister Pizza. You got these astronauts that are relatively smart people and maybe they have some space lab where they make amazing creations. Or it could be a space kitchen, with a space pizza oven. Space. Space is the only place where you will find a better gluten free pie then Mister Pizza.

So clearly Mister Pizza has good pizza.
But this review has nothing to do with that.
I had a horrible experience tonight with my Doordash dasher stealing my food, then spending an hour on the phone with them to get a refund, being hung up on twice. The first hang up came after they confirmed my food was never delivered to me.
I really just want some pizza, and was trying to order from Allentown Pizza since I'm newly vegan and they have interesting vegan options. (Still going to try Allentown, when I called to tell them what happened, the guy was super cool. They just don't deliver to my area.)
So I called Mister Pizza, and confirmed there is no cheese in the pizza sauce. When I ordered, the guy seemed a little judgmental, but not in a rude way. More in a confused way, which was entertaining.
(To be fair, I ordered a Hawaiian pizza, strike one, with no cheese, strike two, and no meat, strike three. I get his reaction.)
He told me he'd have my food on it's way and he'd make sure the driver called.
Didn't know my circumstances.
It was the kind of customer service I needed.

I always enjoy Mr. Pizza. I think I dig sitting outside and people watching just as much as their pie.????????

Mister Pizza ALWAYS does good pie RIGHT! They are one of the originals in the City, and also the only place that I know of that offers REAL Italian-style Dandelion greens as a pizza topping, as well as on several of their HUGE subs. Any gourmet knows that Dandelion greens wilted down with Olive oil and fresh Garlic is FAR superior to the ubiquitous bland Spinach that most other pizzerias offer. I would rate them 10 stars if I could! Highly recommended!
