The service at Taste of Sudan is great and quick. I really like the hearty Somali Spaghetti, it has a really good flavor different than my grandma's Sicilian recipe (shh, don't tell her!) that I like a lot!
The bread is soft and corn-based, and thus gluten-free! It's really good, I took an order home for PB&J rolls too. The rice is cooked to perfection and mild, and the chicken and beef are not hot-spicy, simply hearty stews and kebabs with a tasty and new (to me) sauce, perfect for fall weather.
I have been here several times since January 2020, and really recommend going - the prices are right to try a few things!
Also, hibiscus tea is a Sudanese specialty, theirs is much better than my Wegman's tea at home. I always get it iced.
