The Terrace at Delaware Park

I stopped in for a drink. Fancy drinks! If you’re looking for dinner on a summer night I would suggest a reservation. The food looked tasty and the restaurant was busy all night. The restaurant is located right on the water of the park, so it’s nice to sit outside and drink/eat. The surrounding area, is also beautiful. If you have a little time, walk about and see what you can find. The homes are beautiful

Delicious food and a beautiful view. The only reason I gave it four stars is because we had dinner reservations, but other tables wouldn't leave and we ended up taking couches and staying there through our meal. We were told by the hostesses that they would update us on the progress of open tables and try to move us, but that never happened. Only one server (whose name I can't remember - sorry!) was very helpful to us and ended up taking our service for the evening. Ultimately it was fine and we had a great meal/evening.

It was a very hectic night when we arrived, as all the online reservations didn't go through. So the hostess was trying to juggle walk-ins as well as guests with reservations, and she was very calm about it. The service as a whole was fantastic. Everyone was kind and helpful and genuinely seemed to care about how things were going, especially our server Lauren. She was outstanding, really made the night. As far as the food goes, it was okay. Some basic appetizers, salads, burgers, etc. And classic entree's of roast chicken, steak, fish. All pretty uninspired. Overall it was pretty alright. Great service, good bar, pretty forgettable food.
