Tony's Ranch House

This place has history. I grew up less than one mile from here and I remember always wanting to go eat here but never having the chance.

Finally I made it and to say I was underwhelmed would be putting it mildly. I'd like to start with the positives
Very clean
Comfortable atmosphere for a 'greasy spoon's
Good location

When I walk in, I don't get a hello or welcome of any sort. That was offputting. At least give me Dennys level service right?

I seat myself and wait, now to the person who was working credit she was working 2 tables at the time and I was the 3rd and a 4th came in after me. Plus who knows, there may have been back up orders or something. Nonetheless there's a menu on the table and I pick a basic bacon, eggs and toast.

The portion seemed small but there was no filler in the eggs either, so I wont complain.

At the end the experience wasn't bad it just was severely lacking. A greeting would have gone a long way. A touch better in the food department and a quick check up on me would have been ideal.

Best rice pudding in town.

The food was great and well priced and the friendly staff was great also .

Tony's has been a staple in my community for decades. I was 1st introduced to Tony's when it was on Jefferson Avenue when I was a teenager. So Tony's is historic for their long standing business in Buffalo now located on Main Street. 30+ years don't know how long they've been in business.
