“Got the Brunch special. Good amount of food for 20 bucks. Biscuits were good. Waffle was good, could have used another minute or two on the iron, but I was there with a group of 9, so I'm sure timing was an issue so no problem there. My ribs were somewhat disappointing, as it was an end piece (1/3 rack) and half of it was dried and burnt. The other half was excellent. The egg souffle was decent, but uninspired. I got the bag of donuts, rather than the waffle sundae, as I was at eating capacity. Would recommend, just ask for a middle third on the ribs. (There are other options if you don't want ribs at all.)”

“Was feeling sick so ordered online and picked up on the way home from work. Got the bacon grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup with a fruit cup and made me feel much better. “Typical east side bar as a sort of time capsule to years past. Comfy bar stools, a horseshoe type bar, and well above average "pub-food". Would definitely recommend a peak to locals looking for a watering hole. Best qualities include multiple games including puck bowling, 2 dart boards, quick draw, and even a cornhole set. The dining area is even large enough for indoor winter play. There's also a nice patio that is large enough for smokers to enjoy, and non-smokers to enjoy a nice few drinks to be distant enough to enjoy the fresh air and a cold beverage. Been there several times now and all the staff is super friendly, and can tell some pretty interesting stories when provoked. The regulars are also very interesting and have stories of their own, including one woman that works for the zoo and legit had a "pet" polar bear she was care-taker of in her own home for a period. In summary, great fish fry, great wings, cold beer, great staff, friendly patrons, and a large bar and dining area”

“I stopped into this location about an hour before it closed on a Saturday night for the first time and had a very positive experience. As others have mentioned the restaurant is clean (including the bathroom) and the food I ordered was piping hot. My two-pieces of chicken (a breast and a drumstick) were juicy as well as hot. Mashed potatoes were at par with Popeye's usual standard. Staff were friendly and the manager was responsive to a special request I had. I will visit this location again.”

“I visited Sonic for the first time ever on a Tuesday, hearing of their special offers on that day. I was greeted by an upbeat order taker who was both very knowledgeable about their products and offered delightful conversation. The order was ready very quickly. The cheeseburger was quite good, though the application of mayo was too heavy. I was not provided with any napkins, but perhaps that was a question the server asked me, that was missed. I would stop by there again, but caution about consuming too many calories. Their menu is not comprised of healthy food, but it fits a niche. The music was enjoyable and the restroom clean.”

“It can be hard to find a truly great hot dog, even at a ballgame, which is why Ted's was such a welcome discovery on my visit to Buffalo. They grill the dog right in front of you, to your exact specification. Want it charred a little more? Yeah, they'll do that. The all-beef jumbo dog I ordered was so good, I wished I'd gotten two. The onion rings were surprisingly next-level: sweet and more like an onion loaf than the typical circular rings you'd find at most burger stands.”
