The Viking Diner

I first had the chivetta's chicken and it was awesome! I just had the Thanksgiving Day dinner plate on Thursday and was so excited at how amazing the food was! My husband and I went back yesterday for the fried fish plate and we LOVED it!! Great new spot and decent prices for a LOCAL restaurant! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I just ate the souvlaki sandwich lunch special and LOVED it!!! It was juicy and delicious. I had green beans on the side, which were grilled and seasoned perfectly. What a great lunch!!

The food was very good. The prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was very friendly and the people working there were all very nice and fun . We will be going there again and we'll be telling people to give it a try .

This restaurant is a nice addition to the Island. The inside is crisp, clean and attractively decorated. The staff is excellent. We had their French onion soup, a burger and a spinach salad. Both the burger and salad were very good. The burger was cooked just as requested and the dressing on the salad was wonderful. The French onion soup could use work. The cheese was right; nicely browned and full of flavor, but everything under the cheese was lacking - little flavor from beef, carmelized onions etc. We look forward to going back and trying one of their evening specials. We saw St. Louis style ribs, fried chicken, lasagna and fish dishes offered different weeknights.
