Taffy's Hot Dog Stand

Great place for burgers and fries, and they make the chocolate milkshakes the right way (vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup)! Plenty of outdoor seating with covered swinging tables. Worth a try!

Cute spot for lunch and ice cream that has been in business since the 50s. Stopped by around 1pm on a Friday afternoon and there were plenty of people lounging on their cool swinging tables enjoying traditional American fare such as fries, hamburgers, and milkshakes. I couldn't get over the swinging tables, such a unique way to enjoy food with the family. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, fried cauliflower, and a root beer float. This is a cash only restaurant, so make sure to plan for that. Everything was nicely prepared and service was courteous and quick. I would definitely stop by again to try some of the other treats on the menu.

Taffy's has the best milkshakes in Buffalo, and hands down the most variety I've ever seen. My wife and I make the drive about twice a summer, and they're consistently fantastic through the years. Bring cash as they don't accept credit.

Perfect for summer days. HUGE milkshakes in hundreds of flavors. Some inside seating, but not much. Plan on eating outdoors and (occasionally) protecting your food from a seagull. They aren’t frequently around, but they like to drop in. :)

A Buffalo landmark. One of the best places to get a hot dog or burger and definitely one of the top places to get a milkshake. Their tons of milkshake options is worth the trip alone!
