Little Thai Kitchen

I hadn't had Thai food in forever, so had dinner here my last night in Lake Placid. I got the dim sum and pad thai combo. Service was good and friendly. Both dishes were good, and I ended up taking half the pad thai home.

Ordered a to go order and had a drink while we waited. Waiter was very nice, accommodatingly took our order, and made a good drink. We ordered the Pad Thai. Tasted good enough but it was fairly dry and lacking in flavor. I would ask for extra sauce on the side or have some sauce at the ready when you take it home. (Also heard when the waiter was making sure our order was gluten free the cooks responded pretty rudely to him, sounded rude anyway.)

This was a surprise discovery as we were walking down Saranac Avenue. A little hidden jewel right next to the Walgreens. The taste of the food was very much similar to Thai. Not as spicy as we would have expected it to be but the taste was very good. With the amount of restaurants in Lake Placid this was the only Thai cuisine we managed to find in town. If you’re looking for any Asian Cuisine then a must go to place.

Decided to try this new Thai place tonight, and we were not disappointed. The food was very flavorful and delicious. It was a slow night, and service was very fast and friendly. The Honey Duck was definitely one of the favorites of the 4 dishes my family got, it was cooked to perfection. The pad Thai, curry, and fried rice dishes we ordered were also enjoyed greatly. A nice new restaurant I hope to see stick around, definitely check them out.
