Whiteface Lodge - Lake Placid, NY

Great family resort! My kids love coming here. Rooms are spacious and clean, fireplace and jacuzzi are very relaxing. The canoe club in the summer is fun and well organized. We enjoyed the lovely pontoon ride. Staff is friendly. Very convenient to supermarkets!

Amazing experience. This resort provides everything that you'd want in an Adirondack luxury resort. Very family friendly.
Peak 47 service was slow, but food was good. The pool is a great feature, but it needs some maintenance.
Sitting out by the fires and just enjoying your stay is perfect. Beach location is very nice.
Definitely recommended and we hope to return.

If you're looking for a more upscale, high-end experience, this property fits the bill. The staff is friendly and helpful from the time you arrive through to departure. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and shower water pressure is great. The bar is nice, great service there and the food was good. We had a breakfast-included package and that was good. Their Kanu restaurant is supposed to be very good, we didn't eat there. Definitely try Salt of the through town - excellent all around. Book that well-ahead of time.

Beautiful lodge! Came here for a work retreat and I was absolutely blown away by the beauty and size of my suite. It is as amazing, if not more, than what you see in the pictures. The interior of each suite has a beautiful view that was stunning during any hour.

The lodge also had great amenities to make my work retreat super fun.

The staff there were great as well! Super friendly.
