A doggie door in the bedroom allows your pet to come-and-go to a HUGE fenced-in area.
Rooms are clean, the breakfasts at the store are great and you are 20 minutes from Lake Placid. -

(June 18, 2019, 2:25 pm)A great place to grab breakfast. The menu is rather small, but has all the usual breakfast choices for very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The dining room is small, but we went during the week in the low season and had the place basically to ourselves, save a local regular or two. Also open for lunch.
