Excellent food and service..the transformation is awesome. The owners and staff have worked hard to restore the old inn and brought it back to life. Steamed clams, huge lobster rolls and scallops and more. Daily specials and regular menu. Yummy French onion soup and a super selection of craft draft beer. Everything made to order it's worth the wait

I had not been here in years. It is still under renovations but very nice inside.i wasn't impressed with the walk in as you park in an upper lot and walk down a path to get to the bar/ restaurant. If you have difficulty walking this could be an issue. I'm in hopes that they are making a lower parking lot. My friend and I ordered Bloody Mary's and we asked them to add a slice of bacon. We chuckled as we watched 3 young girls at the bar try and figure out how to make one. But they did a great job. I ordered a Reuban which must have had 2 lbs of corned beef on it. But it was scrumptious and so big I got 4meals out of it. My friend had the fish and that also was excellent. We were each served an enormous portion of homemade fries which were delicious. I would definitely go back. Prices are very reasonable.

Overpriced for the area it's in, despite the renovations they have done, plus the ridiculous notion of charging for certain condiments. The food was good, definitely an excellent chef in their staff. Salad bar had decent selection of options to top your salad. Waiting staff is friendly. The location felt clean and spacious enough to feel private in conversation with those around your table.

An attractive upgrade to the main floor / bar has this place looking great and ready for parties. Hadn't been there in quite a few years, but the vibe is great. Quite a few beers on tap and a good balance between locals and those just passing through make this place a gem stuck right between Caroga and Canada Lakes. Get a drink and some grub and you'll leave happy.
