To all the people who wrote that this place is “unsanitary” or doesn’t meet the normal standards of restaurant cleanliness, I say you are all TOTAL SISSIES!!
When I was a kid, if a bug flew in my kool aid, I picked the bug out and then finished my damn kool aid! I believe many others did the same but then as we got older we began to think differently. We all started paying for things and as a result, began expecting more in return as if things couldn’t ever go wrong. It’s like because we paid for it, no errors could ever occur. This thinking is wrong and can steer you away from enjoying the good things in life. This place is good. The pizza is real good and if you get a slice with some dirt on it, just eat around it or ask for another one. If you get a cannoli that’s a little fuzzy on one side, just start eating from the other end. Their cannolis are so good that by the time you get to the fuzzy side, you’ll have forgotten all about that it was fuzzy and be very satisfied. Man-up everybody! Let’s go!!

I live in North Carolina so when we get back home we ALWAYS go to Mendetta's! They have the BEST ham salad that I have ever had!! My husband and I have been going to Mendetta's for years and don't expect to go anywhere else unless the place closes it's doors!! LOVE this place...huge sandwiches that are made with fresh ingredients all day long AND prices are GREAT!! I just wished they would deliver in North Carolina ????
