Great atmosphere and food. Friendly staff and I hear the chef knows his seafood. It's hidden away but a discovered treasure when you are looking for something different.
First visit tonight - had clam chowder, crab cakes, and fish tacos - and everything was delicious. The tacos are technically an appetizer, but are large enough to be an entree, and I was pleased to see that they didn't skimp on the fish. Husband had the paella special and said it was very good. Looking forward to coming back to try other dishes. It's so nice to know there is a restaurant in Batavia that offers a lot of seafood options. The service was a little slow, but the staff were very friendly and the food was worth the wait! Definitely give this place a try!
I ordered a to go order for Lemon-pepper broiled fish. They were very accommodating.. I went straight home after picking up my dinner. The fish was excellent. The mashed potatoes were home made. I am very picky when it comes to my fish. This fish was all white, moist and flaky. It was cooked to perfection.I thoroughly enjoyed it. The seafood chowder was a little salty for my taste, but I still enjoyed it. I would highly recommend trying this place out.
Just found hideaway while searching for a restaurant to celebrate my birthday today. The food is spectacular, it was the best meal I've had ever in a restaurant. The atmosphere is delightful. The owners are fabulous and friendly. I highly recommend this gem to any who appreciate wonderful seafood.
