I love this restaurant. The owners are genuinely wonderful people and the food delicious.

This place has the very best German food around. I get to go here once every year and I am always glad I do. The apple strudel is delicious. And the beer selection is also outstanding. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for high quality authentic german food.

I appreciate the sentimental element that so many have expressed. I wanted to love it. But at that price, it simply needs to be better quality.

If you want to get a glimpse of what the Catskills were like in their hey day, GO HERE! Food is great, prices too.....some locals go here twice a week. Everyone is friendly here, so chat someone up! Go to the rest rooms-that hallway is a journey through time! News clippings, pictures, even old thank you notes written by patrons who came up for the summer. Vintage purses all over the ladies room cuz 'friends are like purses, you can't have too many" HUGE part of the community, check out their calendar!
