Food, drinks, and staff were all outstanding! Definitely reccomend!

We love this place. It's the second time my wife and I have been here and we are already planning to come back. The portions are generous for the price and despite this the flavors leave you planning your next trip back. We started with cod cakes and the polish pickle soup. The soup was surprisingly tasty and the cod cakes were perfectly crisp and the sauce was a hit. The next step was the prime rib, which you barely need a butter knife for, and the tour of Poland, which is trip of delight for your palate. Lastly, the limoncello cake, I'll leave to your imaginations. Service and drinks to match.

Buffalo cauliflower, best thing I've ever tasted. I dream about this stuff. Whenever I get a chance to go, it's always a weekday and lunch time. There is always only 1 server/bartender on, so depending on how crowded the place is, service can be on the slower side. However, I'm still giving it 5 stars because the staff is super nice, the atmosphere is awesome and the food is outstanding! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

What a gem in downtown Catskill.

Always a must visit whenever we're in the area. Food is amazing, cocktails are excellent.

Usually a good energetic vibe at the bar, never seen it empty. Whenever there's music it's always very good, but not intrusive.

I've had a great time each time I've visited New York restaurant. The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the drinks are excellent. I've had mistakes on an order and the staff quickly corrected it and made good. I haven't seen the new remodel but I really like the cozy, rustic ambience of the place. NYR is great for a date or a friendly get together. I've only had one sub par experience when I had a table between the bar and the front door. Smokers at the bar would pass by to go outside and then return, and you couldn't avoid the cigarette odors. Don't get a table in this area if you are a non smoker.
