Deer Mountain Inn

We had an exquisite dinner experience at the Deer Mountain Inn. Stunning location, warm ambience and delicious menu. The staff are excellent. This is a hidden gem in the Catskills. Truly felt as if we had been transported to another world. We hope to stay at the Inn in the future.

We had the perfect night away!! From the second we walked in the door we were greeted by the front desk who gave us a full tour. The property is absolutely gorgeous. We went upstairs to the 'attic' hung out and played pool and grabbed a drink from the honor bar, which had great selections. We then went to our room and relaxed by the firepalce until dinner. The restaraunt was equally as great; I can get over how nice everyone is that works here. Compliments as well to the chef. My husband and I really enjoyed our time and are already planning on staying again.
It really is such a special place

The place is very nice, the interior is cozy and clean. The food was average. I had lamb and it was very good however others at the table weren’t as lucky. A lot of pumpkin dishes on the menu, one chicken, lamb and one fish. Being in mountains I would expect something different from salmon. Deserts were best past of the dinner. Service was good, I would recommend the waiter had a better sense of humor.
I give it four because of the menu. I hope it was seasonal and gets adjusted.

We've been coming here for years, since they renovated, and we love this place. The menu changes seasonally and while some dishes doesn't quite hit the mark, most of the time we love what the kitchen puts out. Their soups are so yummy and their goulash and fowls are also yummy. We will continue to come every few weeks as long as they will let us!
