Hotel Lilien

My girlfriend and I had an incredible stay at Hotel Lilien over her birthday weekend. Our experience from the moment we checked in, up till we left was nothing but stellar. Jason, Chris, Terrence, and the rest of the staff were truly the warmest and kindest group of people we met upstate. They took great care in the smallest of details and ensured our experience was not only enjoyable but a memorable one. The hotel is comfortable, clean, beautifully designed and was the perfect weekend getaway from the city to relax and unwind. However, apart from the great aesthetics and location (which many upstate hotels have), the one thing that stood out here were the genuine vibes and personal touches. Few establishments have the ability or interest in making sure every guest feels like they are the only ones around, which is what makes Hotel Lilien so special. We're excited to see how this little hotel continues to develop and we can't wait for our next trip.

Fun, cozy, mountain chic upstate mountain vibe. Very welcoming and friendly team with Jason, Danny and Chris. Beautifully renovated rooms. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast next to the fire and returned in the evening for cocktails, small plates and great music! Went on a lovely nature walk with Chris who is full of great vibes and great stories! We will definitely be back when the weather warms up to enjoy the pool and restaurant opening soon!

Had a lovely stay with my husband and 11-month-old. The spacious bunk deck room was perfect, tucked away behind the main building with a semi-private porch, plenty of room to set up our daughter’s pack and play, and still have room for her to roam. The pool lounge chairs were the most comfortable I’ve ever sat in; and I enjoyed spending time in the lobby/common rooms and on the beautiful wrap around porch. Centrally located to all that Tannersville/Hunter/Phoenicia has to offer. We will be back!

Beautiful place, beautiful setting. It's a huge old inn that's been completely renovated. Sometimes set ups like this can be loud but our room was extremely quiet. Didn't hear people next door at all. Food, drinks were all great. Staff and owners were always present and excited to be there. Extremely accommodating for families with an air mattress and room for our pack n play.

My partner and I had an amazing Catskills getaway with our pup. The three owners have brought their backgrounds in hospitality to the (almost) top of Hunter Mountain, giving guests a very well thought out experience.

The hotel features an original 70s pool, a cocktail bar with a great menu, food, pool (the game), and a wrap-around porch to sip a cocktail and watch the stars begin to appear. Great hiking is close by and only minutes from Kaaterskill Falls.
